The 2AxisRotator rotates three dimensional applications about the X
and Y axes. There is only one control that moves in two directions. The
amount of rotation about each axis is given in the pad. The slide will
move to the cursor location when the left mouse is depressed and will follow
the cursor while the left mouse is held down. The rectangular boxes are
used to step incrementally through the rotation angles. Since any rotation
can be represented as combinations of rotations about the X and Y axes,
the 2AxisRotator is convenient for selecting a rotation with just one mouse
motion. The 3AxisRotator is convenient
when rotation about a specific axis is desired.
Reset: Places the slide in its original position.
Applications to Connect This Application to
The 2AxisRotator will rotate any application which renders in a three dimensional space. This currently includes Plane and Globe. When linked through the Animator, continuously rotating objects may be made.
