Combine Slider is a control to help Combine
tinker with databases more conveniently. It takes in one database and outputs
information so that Combine can use three different slices of that database.
It can also perform horizontal and vertical offsets within each slice.
Controls
Menu
The top three sliders always control depth, but the bottom three can be
used for horizontal or vertical axis control. Which is selected using the
menu.
Buttons
Track button is the same as all other track buttons; when it is on, applications
to which Combine Slider is linked update as fast as possible. When it is
off, they update when sliders stop moving.
Sliders
The top three sliders are depth control; they pick which slice of a database
is used in Combine. The three slices correspond to the A, B, and C databases
respectively. This is a handy way to combine different slices within the
same database. If different databases are dropped into Combine, the slides
will work as foreign sliders, moving within the database, but not indicating
correct depth information in the slider.
The bottom three sliders add horizontal offsets to the slices. This
wraps around, so each line of a slice contains the same information as
always, just pushed right or left.

Tricks and Gotchas
Combine Slider can be used for forward differencing; combine A-B and set
B to be one or more pixels offset.
